I agree. That's why I think Mijares would beat him. He's on a whole different level boxing skills wise than Montiel. I would see Mijares slipping his punches and attacking with good combos like he usually does. The only reason why Navarro hit him so much because he threw like 1300 punches and Mijares slipped a majority, which showed in Navarro's low connection percentage. I love watching Mijares.

BTW it's funny when people say they don't watch the lower weights because they say they can kick their asses. To me that's being pretty bold and a ****** reason for not watching the smaller fighters.

I'd also pick Mijares over Montiel, but I was tremendously impressed by Mijares. He is one of the smoothest boxers in the business right now.

I'd also be willing to put my money up against the clowns that say that they would kick these smaller fighter's asses.

126 - Nobody. Linares might be the best, but has a way to go. Guerrero also right there. Some will argue Chris John - eh. Never been impressed by him. Has one notable win - though via controversial circumstances against Marquez

115 - Mijares, though Mijares-Montiel is a must
112 - Very talented division, but no clear cut leader/best fighter. A case can be made for Nonito Donaire, but IMO divisional clarification is an absolute must
