RICKY HATTON has become big pals with the man who crushed his unbeaten record.
The Manchester Hitman plans to have Floyd Mayweather as his ringside guest when he tries to get his career back on track against light-welterweight Juan Lazcano on May 24.
Mayweather KO’d Hatton in the 10th round when they fought in Las Vegas in December, after a bitter build-up.
But Hatton, roared on by around 4,000 fans that night, has revealed all the insults thrown at him by Mayweather are now forgotten.
He said: “Floyd told me he wants to come and watch me fight in England.
"He wants to experience the atmosphere at one of my fights here.”
