This was more than clinching this was holding on for dear life, he would lunge in from the outside to iniate a hold, in fact it was doing this that caused him to get caught with punches and go down as he tried to lunge in and grab..

I think its manny that has him doing the clinching and youre right that he does do it awckwardly and it exposes him to getting knocked down. he never did any holding until he hooked up with manny steward. I hope he doesnt have him do that in the future. he was much better off when he'd knock guys out with the left hook on the inside as he did in many earlier fights
