My guess would be that this fight plus the much better than average Shobox the night before stretched their budget as far as it could go.

They will probably have one of those mini documentaries, like 10 mins long, on how Marquez-Vazquez trilogy goes with all the other great trilogies of all time and stuff like that.

And after the fight they might have some people on to discuss or something. Those would both be reasonable ideas.

Its not like the telecast is gonna start and then DING, Round 1 starts, u know?

That's one of the things I don't like from the networks here in the states, they don't show the undercards. You look at other places from around the world and they always show fights that never get shown here, It's a damn shame too. We as boxing fans are missing out on a bunch of good undercard fights.

But seeing Shaw complain about boxing's undercards when he has Kimbo fighting absolute jokes in MAIN EVENTS is comical.
