The thing that stands out the most to me is the fact that JMM was dropped 3 times in the first round last time. Nobody seems to talk about that much. Had there been a 3 knockdown rule it would've been MP tko1 JMM and we wouldn't be having this rematch. I understand that the next eleven rounds JMM fought a very good fight to get the draw. Even though MP doesn't seem to have too many weapons in his arsenal, he has done a great job at getting better at doing the things he was already good at. To me JMM hasn't really gotten a whole lot better since the last time. I think MP is goint to ko JMM. He hits a lot harder now than when they first fought IMO.

Pacquiao fought Morales, Barrera and now Marquez past their prime. marquez got hit too much against Rocky Juarez, a no one. In their prime, Pacquiao wouldnt stand any of them..

Am I the only one annoyed by the whole "Pac vs. the great Mexicans" ****? Not that the fights are dumb, but to beat the idea that he is the "Mexican assasin" into the ground has gotten really, really old.

The only way Pacquiao wins this one is if Marquez suddenly gets old. That is actually a possibility as Pacquiao is a great pressure fighter and Marquez is long past his prime. Nevertheless, if Marquez brings his A-game I don't see Pacquiao having much chance.

This is every reason given by the so-called Mexican elites after Pacquiao KOs them out. I expect Marquez fans to bring this excuse after JMM losses.
