Cotto has been in the ring with fighters who hit harder than Alfonso.
Gomez has never gone 12 rounds.
Gomez has heart but he is not on Cotto's level.
It should be a great fight and Cotto should take Gomez out early.

Cotto is a better than average fighter who has been CAREFULLY matched against opponents he could handle. Save that great **** for awhile..

If he had beaten Judah clean in a straight up battle of contention I might have been more impressed. If he had beaten a focused and alert Mosley I might have been more impressed. The truth is he used tactical low blows to bail himself out of the challenge with Judah. The truth is he scored heavily on a pathetically timed, idiotically defended Mosley.
