It was written all over his face. I see the point you're trying to make. It doesn't work, there's a big difference between reading into what people say and identifying a look of shock on their face.

Dear God... why do you guys always think you know what Floyd "really meant"... I have heard every one his quotes "interpeted" so many times it's scary...

You cannot speak for him... NONE of you can.. ONLY HE can speak for himself.. and His meanings are not open to debate.. He means what he says.. and says what he means.. It there for all to see and hear..

No difference at all...we all are making assumptions here. Everybody including Floyd knew that Hattons fans are going to stay down until the end. Floyd also said that Ricky was a great fighter and that he hopes he continues his career and not to hold his head down, he'll fight again. What I came away from the situation thinking that they had mutual respect for each other and all the pre fight **** was just hype. I mean Ricky said that Floyd pity pats when he fights and couldn't knock him out with that bull**** and look what happened. People say **** to hype themselves up when their not confident about things...IMO its all head games.

I sure didn't catch that one. But that explains why he is trying to go mainstream. To me Floyd did show he was the best, and that quote is a prime example that Floyd isn't as bad as people make him out to be...actually that gave me the impression that all of Rickys fans cheering like they did for him after the fight was a humbling experience for him and he longed for that type of following. But the fact still remains that he's the best ww out there, Lifestyle Flashy, crem de la crem, if it don't make dollars it don't make sense type of cat and I don't believe that will ever stop.
