WLAD defeated sultan with his right hand tied to his back incredible!11

man i used to respect wlad for koing his opponents fast and brutally but last weekend i gained new respect for wlad as one of the purest boxers to ever live

he defeated the unbeaten heavyweight champion only using one hand for most of the fight forget about mayweather or ray leonard thats skills right there

wlad should always be remembered for the boxing clinic he put on last week sure it was boring but most boxing clinincs are boring just go watch baldomir-mayweather or any malignaggi fight

i dont think if wlad woulda koed sultan it woulda been more impressive cuz people would be saying he was a bum and what not now everyone realizes wlad is one of the most natural gifted fighters to ever step in a ring

even if you aint being sarcastic then yeah okay i feel that. it was boring, but if you really think about it, i don't think any other hw at this point can win so easily agaisnt a difficult southpaw. sometimes being too good does ruin the sense of a competition.

sometimes when ur so above the rest in ur division u have to make your own challenges like not using your right hand the entire fight

To ever live? His jab was very good in the fight but a KO in this fight would have been more impressive, people know Ibragimov was one of the top 5 heavyweights in the world and knocking him out would have made a statement, he was overly cautious IMO and if he had thrown a few more right hands, he would have looked even better.

While i agree that he completely dominated sultan and is the best heavyweight at the moment i would disagree about him being one of the best boxer's to ever live. He did great behind the jab but if he was so good he should have set sultan up for the KO he didn’t throw any body punches no uppercuts and was cautious about throwing the straight right. Yes he completely dominated sultan but i think you are slightly exaggerating the performance. And sultan was hardly impressive against an old holyfield who hasnt had a good fight since he beat rahman.

I'll teach you something about boxing, since it doesn't seem like you know much.
The jab is the most important punch in boxing, and if somebody can't get past your jab, they have little chance of beating you.
It eliminates the need to throw other punches.
Have you ever fought in the ring and tried to get past somebody's long jab and found out it was impossible???

If Wlad had been jabbing all fight then fair enough but he wasnt, he was pawing around at range and slapping Sultans Jab with his forearm.

This is exactly the problem. Wladimir is my favorite fighter so I'm not unfairly disregarding the performance. Last summer he put on one of the greatest jabbing exhibitions by any boxer ever. Against Sultan he didn't do that. He landed some jabs but he did not use it consistently and effectively; it was enough to win the fight but it was not a total non-stop jab assault like he gave Brewster

That had nothing to do with Brewster standing right in from of him .. and Ibragimov moving and staying low.. right???

Klitschko didn't win it, Ibragimov gave it away.
