    Joe Louis

I do not know how many of you had the oppritunity to see the HBO special Joe Louis American Hero Betrayed,I missed the premiere and had a chance to catch the replay tonight and I must admit(at the risk of being critisized and made fun of)this story will make your eyes water.I was aware before watching this story that Joe Louis had troubles with the IRS,but I did not realize the extremes they went through to take everything they could possibly take from him.Besides being one of the greatest If not the greatest heavyweight fighter ever Joe Louis was an honorable man that In no way shape or form deserved what he was put through.

        I was kidding.

The last time I cried was when the doctor cut the umbilical cord.

If that's the case, you must be uncircumsized.

I've never seen the movie, but I did learn about the IRS screwage of the Brown Bomber from America: Freedom to Fascism.

If you want to know the real story about his tax problems you can find it in Joe Louis's autobiography. He admits that in those days he would often make more money in one fight than most people earned in a lifetime, then he would go out and blow it. People who are reckless tend to get into financial problems.

I'd rather rob a bank than mess with the IRS.
