I just watched Cotto vs Quintana and how good is Quintana's chin? I mean he was taking some brutal shots, but he didn't want to come out for the next round at all.
So I was wondering, if he is getting hit cleanly and not throwing anything back, does that make him more likely to quit? Mayweather doesn't hit that hard, but I doubt Quintana could land those lefts he was blasting Paul Williams with against Mayweather. Mayweather would most likely be tagging him with huge right hand counters. I don't even want to know what Margarito would do with him (Though Quintana did look good in rounds 2 and 3 so he might be able to outbox Margarito).
If Mayweather were to stay in the pocket and slip a lot of his shots/blast away with counters I think we could have another Gatti-Mayweather on are hands if those two ever fought (which is highly unlikely).
So what's the deal here? Was he THAT hurt or was he more discouraged then hurt (I have no doubt that he was hurt. Those hooks to the face were brutal.)?
