And lets be honest here, if he wasn't australian you wouldn't give a **** either, ask yourself that question for a moment.

Im a bigger Calzaghe fan than i am of any other fighter.

That just proves your logic wrong.

You need to recognize the skill of fighters abroad. As well. Your point is valid but also wrong in ways.
Maybe because Hopkins is 43 years old and Joe has looked impressive against bums so they made him the favorite, but still, Calzaghe is coming over here to validate his career which proves my point. In my opinion the best fighters come from North America and South America, and if you want to be the best you have to beat the best, which is why fighters come over here, simple as that.

Both these questions are important for aussie boxing. Im sure Danny would go to the US to fight, as for Anthony im not to sure.

Roy Jones Jr. going to australia is a question mark.

he was the p4p best in the 90's and after his performance against tito (which was better than i expected from him) i dont think he NEEDS to go to australia but i think he would for a title.

He wouldnt HAVE TO if he didnt want to. he still can get pretty good fights in the U.S.

As for Jermain Taylor i think after his two losses to pavlik he wants to get back on track and be a title holder again on his was to be considered a champion again.

i think Taylor is MORE likely to take a fight out of his home country than Roy Jones but i wouldnt be surprised if they both went to australia for fights.

but if someone thinks its a MUST for them they're crazy.

In MY opinion taylor's stock didnt fall too far after those two losses...in the first fight he had pavlik on the ground in the second round and had he not went knockout happy i think he could have finished him off...

in the second fight he fought a much better fight...a pretty close fight (on my card)...so i think he still can get good fights...will his next fight be a big PPV fight? i doubt it. but he's still a force in boxing.

For Roy Jones Jr. i think his fight with Tito showed us that he still has something left in the tank and i could see him fighting for maybe another year or two.
