Absolutely. The real question to me is how it compares to Barrera-Morales.

Agree. But it will never gain the mainstream appeal that the Gatti-Ward trilogy did and niether guy is going to be as popular as Gatti and Ward were.

Gatti-Ward 2 was a onesided beatdown that wasnt that good, 3 was very good but not as good as either M-V fight.

But the FIRST Gatti-Ward fight was more exciting then M-V 1 and 2. IMO

Marquez-Vazquez is Much better IMO. The action is so much more brutal and action packed.

But there was an intensity in the Barrera-Morales, due to the rivalry, that hasnt been matched since

i really doubt that it will be boring, both Vazquez and Marquez have to much pride. I can see Marquez being more defensive minded, but these are mexicans we're talking about. for the majority of mexican fighters, its how you win. i hope thats the case for this fight atleast.
