Cortez would be the worst style for Hopkins, but people really need to stop bitching about the Hatton fight. He really only did a bad job in round 2. Hatton's style is illegal in the first place. I don't mind it, considering I'm a big Hopkins fan (though I feel Hatton is a bit more hold and hit then Hopkins), but Cortez was doing his job. He was also warning Mayweather too.

That check hook ended Hatton, not Cortez.

I'm a huge fan of B-Hop but in all honesty I didn't see anything in the Wright fight to tell me he can take Calzaghe. I'll be cheering for him but I just don't see it ending well for him.

Cortez is a good referee, I find it funny that people got angry at him for not allowing him to clinch and hold illegally.
If anything this favors Joe, who never clinches and rarley fouls.
