IMO If Vazquez didn't suffer a broken nose we wouldn't be talking about this fight b/c he would have stopped Marquez! I give the edge to Marquez on pure boxing skills, but Vazquez is the bigger man & has proven he can take Rafa's best & even managed to score knockdowns in both fights... Marquez says he wants to fight a better discliplined fight, but both Marquez bros. (with all their tremendous skill & heart) have a tendency to "brawl" a little more than they box sometimes, leaving themselves open (neglecting defense) & getting knocked down (check his brothers fight against the aging Barerra in the 7th rd)... I got Iggy putting Marquez on his ass for the 10 count somewhere between the 5th & 8th rds...

Vasquez has managed to catch Marquez with the left hook in both fights, I think it will happen again...

I have Showtime and last night I watched Marquez/Vasquez II, so they might be showing the first one tonight. Im going with Marquez in this one. I think he will stay away from the Vasquez left hook more this time which has done damage to him in both fights. I say Marquez win's by stoppage because of cuts. His punches seem to produce cuts quite a bit and we know how Vasquez looked last time.

Very tough to decide who will win. Marquez clearly got the better of the first fight in my opinion, and Vazquez clearly got the better of the second fight in my opinion. In the first fight Marquez seemed a step above Vazquez and then Vazquez seemed a step above Marquez in the rematch. Both fights were close, but it was clear who was winning to me.

Ive been thinking Vazquez deffinately wins, with the 2nd fight still in my head but I watched the first fight again yesterday and now im not so sure. Marquez looked ***in sharp in the first fight.

That being said, im still picking Israel Vazquez. He is one of my favorite fighters and I think he will eventually catch Marquez. He has already proved he can hurt Marquez badly at any time. I just dont think Marquez can last a full fight against Israel Vazquez.

Should be a good fight and im counting down the days!!
