This whole thing is ******. Witter is the WBC Champ for crying out loud!!! It should be him Hatton is fighting, I understand Lazcano, and even Malignaggi after that. But Hatton should have Witter in his sights for early 09!

It's sad that the same fans who support Hatton, dog on Mayweather for being a businessman, while they defend Ricky as he becomes one.

Remember that Hatton is "The Man" at 140 even without a Belt.
Witter has beaten no-one really even though he owns a trinket.
Anyone with sense should realise that Belts mean NOTHING these days.
Witter is a dire performer and if Hatton gave him a Shot he needs to accept that people will be paying to see Hatton not Witter.
Sometimes I wonder how many people on here who champion Witter have actually seen him fight?
Especially against Lynes & Kotelnik.
He can't even sell out an Arena in his Hometown either.
Witter should have taken the Money and proved he could do the job.

If Witter was the best option for Hatton then he might get 30%. He isn't though, a much better option is Malignaggi, and a fight with Ricardo Torres would be more of a spectacle. Witter's ugly spoiling style will make it a stinker.

Witter's a bum, maybe he'll be happier fighting back in Doncaster in front of an old man and his dog?
He should be happy with what ever he gets because it's more then what he gets already.

Even if this true just because a fighter is offered the highest payday of his career doesn't mean its a fair offer and needs to be accepted.
