Hopefully these comments will take take the Witter train off its tracks for a while. As I have said many times, Witter should concentrate on making a name for himself and putting Hatton in a position where he has no option but to fight him but until then he should know his role and shut his mouth.

Because Team Hatton has been lying about the fight from day one so its safe to believe Witter for now.

I agree with the underlined bit but too many people arent going to get in the ring with Witter when they could get a fight with Hatton....Witter needs to fight people like Paulie M, Torres but all of them would rather wait for Hatton to knock on the door than Witter...Witter is too dangerous while he wouldnt give them the same pay that a fight with Hatton would generate, On the other hand Hatton is easy picking while they get huge sum of money.

Condemn one boxer for making money and not looking for the best fights but the other its justified.

I'm sure we'll be getting a retort from Witter's camp soon.

Agreed 100%. If Witter had any sense at all he would have been thinking about the long term paydays off a Hatton win instead of the short term.

Sad but true. I like Hatton and I like his personality better than Mayweather but as a boxing fan, I want to see boxers fight the best opposition out there There will be no double standards over here as I expect Hatton to fight the biggest name in his division as I do Mayweather to fight the biggest in his as seen in Cotto. I can understand and respect their financial interests but I still like to see legacy and pride as most important or at least create the illusion for chrissakes. Shane Mosley strikes me as a guy where that mentality rings true.
