As much as I want to say Gomez............Forbes is the better fighter/tougher fight. Slick fighter who has been robbed in 3 out of 5 fights of his career. Main one was with D.Hopkins, absolutely ridicilous, I had it 117-111 for Forbes.

To Cotto's credit he's covered up fairly well lately. The only punch you can get in on him for sure with great acccuracy is the uppercut.

He look tough because Gatti was already washout! These forbes vs DLH, Floyd vs Big Show and Cotto vs Gomez fights are simply jokes. DLH Should retire, Floyd should be figthing boxers not wrestlers and Cotto should not take another fight like this again, maybe if he moves to 154 a tune up fight would be un placebut not at 147.He does't need stay busy fights like this.

Gomez is a guy you just know will come to fight. He will give Cotto hard time even if it's just for a few rounds because of his toughness.

Forbes... He is much smaller compared to De La Hoya, a former super featherweight champion who could probably still fight at lightweight.
All depends on how well he can take De La Hoya's power and how well he can avoid it.

IMO Gomez has a better chance, not much of a chance, but a better chance than Forbes because of his size advantage over Cotto.

I really doubt Forbes can win a decision over De La Hoya (even if he should) and there's almost zero chance at him knocking out DLH.
He could make DLH look foolish though.

                  Baldy looked HOF against Gatti.

I voted Forbes because of his skills and style. Gomez is tailor-made for Cotto. Oscar is slightly more skilled than Show.

Forbes almost lost to Bojado in his last fight....and has looked like **** at 150 almost losing to K9(if youve seen the full version when they put it on the espn site) and lost to Brewer...DLH is gonna KO him....
