U can only feel bad to an extent

He had no common sense as far as spending money

Didnt it say he took home a purse of 400,000 and came home with nothing

Ignorance of spending to much money is no excuse...

I respect him very MUCH... but how bad can you feel about his money problems...

Your right Joe's decisions weren't the best, but the government even after he was done boxing was taking 90% of his checks and they even took his children's trust funds. What he represented for America during his time as champ, he should have at least got treated better by the government that he served and helped.

IMO it should also be expected now. Nothing much has changed except technology. **** look how they did Pat Tillman who was killed by friendly fire and all the other injured veterans. I have seen veterans protesting in front of the White House and the Department of Veterans Affairs and the **** ain't pretty with how they look or are being treated. So as of back then, today and the future I wouldn't expect anything different. Militaries are not set up to fight for righteous causes. They exsist for protection and to make capitalistic gains for said country.
