A solid month for boxing if you ask me (Vazquez-Marquez III to kick it off), especially in regards to the lightweight division. The conclusion of next month will set up some amazing lightweight bouts for late summer. I'm hoping to see a Katsidis-Juan Diaz bout along with a Pacqiuao-David Diaz and the winner of both those matches take eachother on in late October, early November (I'm getting a chubby just thinking about it). Let's hope March sets the pace for the rest of the year. April and May are shaping up well enough for me to get my hopes up.

I've got Katsidis on top of the lightweights by next year. -
Dont get excitement mixed up with talent. Hes exciting, but hes not that good. He has life and death battles with bums. Hes worse than John Duddy. He fought a war with that Earl guy who Amir Khan destroyed in the first round. Him and Diaz match up well as far as styles but I still think Diaz beats him.

I am cautiously optimistic about Katsidis. I agree that he is no P4P elite talent, but he is very good, and I would say much better than Duddy. I think he will get past Casamayor, but I think Juan Diaz would stop him on cuts. But it still would be FOTY which is why Casamayor and Campbell really have the deck stacked against them.Comment

I wonder if he took notes from his last fight. I'm hoping to see more defense and a jab out of Katsidis in this fight. If he utilizes a jab allowing him to set up some combinations, especially that crushing right hand, then watch out for him. I'm not going to write him off just yet.Comment
