Floyd is pathetic for fighting Oscar again.

Cotto- Floyd is whats best for the sport and DLH should be ringside not in it..

If Forbes pull off a miracle and stops DLH does that affect DLH PBF? other than it will get even less respect..

Your completely wrong, that fight was a fight people wanted to see 10 years prior maybe but not at that time. In fact, Sugar Ray was told NOT to fight Hagler because he would get killed, Ray went against everyone and took the fight anyway. Ray was a huge underdog in that fight and even though it was for a title (I made that mistake) Ray had already retired and was thought to be done.

My point is that, you said Oscar should just stick to promotion and let other fighter's have more relevant fight's. I used that as an example that, Oscar can still deliver entertaining fight's and isn't that what is most important in a match?? Entertainment?

Oscar has FAR from embarassed himself, let the guy fight whoever he want's to, he's deserved that right.

It wasn't 10 years. In 1977 Hagler wasn't even known yet, it was more like 3 years after the Kevin Howard fight Hagler wanted the fight but Leonard wouldn't fight him until he saw Hagler start to slip a bit against Mugabi and the fans really wanted the fight.

yes, i think if DLH loses to forbes OR forbes gets robbed (again) than DLH does not deserve the fight. DLH was a great champ but he had his time; give it to the hungry up and comers who have fought their way to a shot.
              IE : Cotto

For the record I say Floyd beats Cotto but thats here nor their.

I liked Oscar back in his hey day, but now he seems just to be getting in the way of meaninful fights. So I'll be rooting for Forbes because I honestly don't really want to see Mayweather/DLH 2. Because lets get real it's just a money fight. Im not a Floyd hater and actually like him, but it's getting harder to defend him because he doesn't fight any of the real WW's out there. I mean both guys are rich beyond belief, do they really need any more?

DLH may not be the fighter he once was but he still has alot left in the tank. What I saw from him against PBF was very impressive. I thought Floyd would embarass him and that didn't happen.
You only get one chance to fight or play a sport as a living, if your not embarassing yourself, I don't see why people have such a problem with it. It's like when Emmitt Smith went to the Cardinals, people were trashing Emmitt but he was still productive in Arizona.

I have no problem seeing DLH fight again and I will even go as far as to say that he has some big fight's left in him. I know people would love to see him vs Cotto or maybe a re-match with Trinidad just for entertainment.

The fight with Sugar Ray Leonard vs Marving Hagler wasn't for a belt and it was about 10 years too late but it was still a very entertaining fight. Why not allow DLH to give us the same thing in the last stage of his career?

People love to dictate other people's lives...........get over it.
                    i agree, that's people don't understand

No, it is hardly a comprable situation. First of all Leonard and Hagler didn't already have a fight. Second the fans do not want to see this fight again. 3rd Mayweather has major unfinished business if he intends on retiring as the ATG that he claims. And yes it is important that a fight is entertaining but it is not nearly the most entertaining fight. PBF verse any top welterweight would be more entertaining. Lastly the reason PBF and DLH have taken this course is for the greater goods of their bank accounts. It is completely ridiculous to think PBF/DLH 2 is best for fight fans.
