I think a lot of people dont realize that Cotto's personality is really a downfall for him, but after a couple more wins he should be in the position to guarantee himself Mayweather.
Cotto's personality is a downfall for him?
Why because he is not a loud mouth little monkey like Floyd?
Cotto has a great personality. Floyd is nothing more than Amorosa with out the ****. I should not be so hard on Amarosa. She has a PHD.

Too bad Cotto's fight with Gomez interfeers with this possibility.

It would have been great to see the REAL Welter Weight Champion there and not Fraud Mayweather Jr.

Let it be known that I'm not a PBF fan.

That said, are you still going to be around when Mayweather beats the breaks off Cotto?

2501: Hadn't seen your post but glad to see that there are like thinkers. I actually started mentioning the need for such a chant on the boards on Maxboxing last week.

A great personality? I dont know him personally like i guess you do, but maybe i should just say he has no charisma. You see with Floyd, you either love him or hate him, either way he gains your interest and people want to see him fight, some just solely hoping they get to see him lose. With you, you have gone out of your way to find a pic of him with a wig on, which im sure he doesnt mind because it shows that hes on your mind. With Cotto, people just dont care about him, similar to Tim Duncan. They're great at what they do but they dont draw people of all types to them, and in a sport of individuals I believe that hurts Cotto.

It doesn't take much to turn the delahoy chant into a cotto one. If 10 people on here hit the wwe posting sites and post up Delahoya's recent losses, and not to mention his cross dressing ways then they would be looking to chant another name much faster than you think. Then you point out that an undefeated fighter that blazed a trail through the ranks is being ducked an you'll be surprised how fast Cotto's name comes up. The WWE fans aren't ******, post Cotto's name up and they'll do the research. The fact is Cotto is the number one contender and for what ever reason Floyd just isn't giving him a shot at the title. We can speculate on why but if the fans really want Cotto to get a shot at Floyd we better start hitting the message boards and gettin under Mayweathers skin. Lets face, we might be able to make this fight happen sooner than later if we can get some non-boxing fans to jump on the Mayweather v. Cotto ban wagon.

Heres one site I'll be joining in the morning and start posting up to see if we can get some dudes over there that plan to go to Wrestlemania to help us boxing fans out with getting the fights we want to see.

If you find some other popular ones please post them up and I'll be sure to join and do likewise. Lets get that chant going and sit back and watch the fireworks. You'd be surprised how fast word of mouth can get around.

In Orlando, Florida. Cotto got a huge fan base. Spread the word and it may happen.
