In the sense that Vasquez beat Raf who fights similar to his brother although abit more aggressive. Both are excellent counter punchers and now it seems Juan has been more like his brother Raf trying to be more offensive friendly. If anything, Vasquez showed, the best way to beat a counter puncher, is to keep punching in bunches to throw him off his rythme. Vasquez kept punching every round, throwing anything and Raf Marquez HAD to fight back whether he wanted to or not. I think that's a similar fight plan to beat Juan.
Is the blueprint to beat J.Marquez partially revealed by Vasquez?

I find they have different styles, JMM is more accurate and prefers to counter punch defenseively whereas Rafael is much more agressive, JMM throws sharper punches too, Pacquiao can't fight the way Vazquez did against Rafael.Comment

PAC's work rate is not better than Vasquez, atleast not the Vasquez who fought the 2nd Marquez bout...
He throws more punches in bunches, but tends to fight in spurts.
Vasquez was very steady in the 2nd Marquez bout - start with a fast but steady pace & keep it up. Go to the body every chance you get.
If Pacquiao can keep up that kind of steady pace he might be able to overwhelm JMM with his speed & size...
but it's not his normal style, & see him getting countered a lot by JMM, who's a better counterpuncher & defensive fighter than his brother.
See Pacquiao's best guarentee of winning is by fighting a little like Pryor did against Arguello..
Sudden sustained attacks, then pulling out, moving around, then sudden attacks from another direction.
He's got the speed to pull it off, but don't know if he has the discipline or range.
Should be interesting to say the least...Comment
