Sorry to all the Floyd-lovers, but the first thing I thought is, "money-grabbing-whore". And, I'm still thinking it.

Am I jealous? Actually no. I think there's a lot of folk in the world desperate for money for food, rent etc. And this guy gets 20mill for a joke fight!!!

I can't see how they can get enough extra PPV buys to warrant a 20 million payday. Whats a WWE ppv cost $40? If that got an extra 400,000 PPV buys(Which i think is impossible) it would generate an extra $16 million. Subtract calbe company's take and the figure is even lower.


Does anyone here actually going to order it because Mayweather is wrestling? I'm talking about non prowrestling fans. I can't see anyone doing it, theres zero cross promotion appeal. This isn't like when Brock Lesnar fought in the UFC, there was appeal from non MMA fans because its a real fight involving an EX pro-wrestler. If Mayweather fought a MMA match a lot of boxing fans would buy the PPV because its a real fight, but who the **** would care about a scripted wrestling match outside of WWE fans?

I think WWE banks on being able to get good ratings up until the event and in the end it will pay off.
