Thing with the majority of Floyd fans on here is ya'll are so fascinated by the dude being payed. What is that??? I know its a message board and people just talk **** (thats what you do on here), But c'mon ya'll...some of you are on some real **** **** (especially the ***** with Floyd sigs in his underwear smiling wishing he was smiling at him...wow @ that lol).

I've only seen a few of the Floyd fans on here who's opinions I respect because they actually make sense regardless if they're saying Floyd is #1 or that he'll beat Cotto.

And again, I'm not hating on Floyd. He's a phenomenal fighter. But some of ya'll man...his fans lol...need to come out of the proverbial...well, you know:

I've said it before and i don't doubt Floyd will fight Cotto but what will Mayweather do after DLH if Cotto loses before their bout? Like if marg/cint winner beats Cotto.. will that winner end up fighting mayweather? Or will that just be a reason for Mayweather not to fight any welterweights.

I think a lot of Mayweather's more hugger-oriented fans are probably young and fully submerged in hip hop culture.. or just get rich/famous fast pop culture either way Mayweather's flashy "#1" style really appeals to this youth flash audience.

Most of the Floyd fans I talk to that are hard core Floyd fans that have been watching Floyd since at least '97 tell me the exact same thing:

I think the reason there is so much bad sentiment towards Floyd is because we as boxing fans want to see the best fight the best. For Floyd who is near the end of his prime – to not be fighting the best out there would be a shame to boxing fans and will hurt his legacy. Cotto on the other hand is fighting top welterweight contenders.

Hopefully there will be a matchup of these two in the near future.
