No doubt, as Ali was only a blown-up welterweight with a ****ty jab

Lets not get ahead of ourselves here. Holmes had trouble against journeyman and never beat an all time great. He wouldn't beat Ali either. if anything, he's a poor man's version of Muhammad.

So did Ali. In fact, so have most champions.

I find this interesting because there's a video on youtube when Tyson suggests that he would have beaten Ali. I find it weird that he thinks that he would have lost to a prime Holmes and not Ali, who had a way better chin and almost as good as jab as Holmes.

Shut up you ******* whore, Tyson beats all.

WHen he didn't take the fight serious. When he did, he made himself the greatest resume in boxing history. How many greats did Holmes beat again?

What I'm saying is Larry Holmes could have possably beaten Ali. I'm not talking about who Holmes beat and who Ali beat. I'm talking about them fighting each other. I'd pick Ali but I think Holmes would have a serious chance.

Holmes lost his first fight at age 36 against Michael Spinks.

He had great fights with tough, hard-punching cookies such as Shavers, Norton, Cooney etc.
After losing to Tyson at age 38, he went another 4 years before losing a 12 round decision against Holyfield.

I disapprove of what you wrote, but I'll die defending your right to write it.

Your absolutely wrong, go back and watch it again. Ali only pointed at Mike when asked who would win. Ali said "I don't know what would happen if he hit me". Ali also said "but if he hit me...." then he made a notion that he got knocked out. Tyson disagreed that Tyson would beat Ali.

Holmes had the perfect style to beat Tyson in his prime, Tyson would have never gotten past that jab.
