Why doesn't HBO do this stuff anymore? They kinda did with De La Hoya Mayweather, but it wasn't any controversial decisions stuff like they did with this and Oscar/Whitaker.

At about 8 minutes into the video what Merchant was saying can be translated from Lewis/Holyfield into nowadays Mayweather/DLH!!!!! Merchant says he don't want a rematch with a 34 year old Lewis or 37 year old Holyfield but would rather them challenge the young up and coming heavyweights to add life back to a sport in desperate need of something refreshing. From 8 minutes on he could be talking about Mayweather/DLH and noone would have known if names weren't mentioned!!!!

I saw Lewis commentate in the Guzman vs Soto fight and one of the judges for the fight was Williams, the judge who scored Holyfield - Lewis I 115-113 for Holyfield. Or perhaps it was the judge who scored it a draw, I'm not sure.

The other commentators said the fight ended in a draw and Lewis went silent, then answered back "It was no draw..."
The fight was a robbery, the second fight was closer and it was scored as a lopsided decision victory for Lewis!

There's a similar HBO review on Whitaker vs De La Hoya where they interview the two fighters and talk about how outlandish the scoring for that fight was.

The punch stats showed Whitaker threw more, landed more and landed at a higher percentage but the judges gave Whitaker only 3 rounds.

This reminds me of when Bowe elected to throw his belts away instead of fighting Lennox Lewis!!!!

Nice Video. I wish HBO would do more stuff like this. Plus judges should be questioned after controversial scorecards.
