Winky sure as hell won't be the agressor in this fight like he was with Hopkins, so he won't get countered and not get his punches smuthered.

Pavlik doesn't throw that many angles like Taylor in his fight against Winky. Bernard threw some angles too, which worked.

I don't see Pavlik getting threw with his 1-2 against Winky's defense.

Winky UD. I think he could beat Pavlik.

Winky would easily outbox him. Could be shaken at some points by the hard hitting champion will nonetheless come out with an easy win.

i'm going to have to go with pavlik, because i personally believe that guys after fighting hopkins aren't the same as they were prior, i think that trend will continue..........................

As much as I love Winky, he's too stationary for Pavlik, even if you defend Pavlik's punches, you will definetaly feel them. I think the best way to beat Pavlik is through constant movement and make him miss a lot.

Wright is 36 years old, coming off a loss and a one year break.
Pavlik is 10 years younger, coming off two big wins over Jermain Taylor and has fought consistently for the past few years.

I don't see Winky winning against the bigger, younger and stronger opponent.
If Pavlik comes with the right adjustments and uses a variety of punches
(I'd like to see more left hooks, body punching and effective use of the uppercut), he will win.
Winky's high guard, southpaw style and counter punching will be troubling.

Well yeah, I can easily see Pavlik winning if he doesn't throw the same 1-2 over and over again. At the end of his last fight, he was finally start to use some angles/go to the body. He really needs to do that to Winky.

I think a slower counterpuncher who has great timing is Pavlik's weakness, but we'll see.

winky has a good chin and great defense but i think pavliks aggression beats him
