Heres why i think Ricky will never be the same fighter again:
Ricky has reached the very top of his sport and fought the best p4p fighter on the planet in a hugely promoted fight and was, of course, knocked out, in that fight Ricky reached the pinacle of his career. I think the drive to be recognised as the worlds best and to maintain that '0' was a big factor in Ricky's fighting style that now wont be quite the same. Maybe i should have titled this thread ' Is Hatton still hungry' (no pun) for instance after sharing centre stage with the best and gaining huge financial reward from it and becoming a household name certainly in Britain, how would he fair against someone like Witter who after years of hard work is still after the riches that accompany being a champion, and recognition, what i'm trying to say is do you think that hunger would play a part at all? Physically i think Hatton can come back just as strong but mentally i do not. Professionally there will never be a bigger, more defining point in Hattons career than the one he had last december therefor i think he will lose some drive which was so important in the way he fought
