Look this loss against Mayweather aint gonna touch Hatton, he has too much pride and a big heart. He's gonna have about 1 or 2 warmups (though like big paulie said Lazcano aint a pushover) then after hes got Witter, Pacquiao, a possible fight against De La Hoya and a possible (however a lil doubtful) rematch with Mayweather in England under Hattons preferred conditions.

I think Hattons prime is now. And we have a lot more to see from him. i think hell realise his brawler ("1 dimensial") antics and work on his tactical aspects.

I dont think the witter fight will ever happen, and to be honest i dont care, everyone talks like witter is the only guy worth fighting, but he has no better record than malignaggi or even rees if he wins his next fight. also, the americans could not care less about witter, but lazcano is an exciting fighter who will make the fight worth watching, unlike witter who is just boring.

lazcano in may, paulie in september and pac man at the end of the year, another great year for boxing fans from the hitman.

i don't think a fight with lazcano is the the best option.

lazcano loses to vivian harris who just got ko'd by witter and hatton has refused to fight witter, supposedly for a couple of reasons, hattons team says that witter doesn't bring anything to the table and hatton has said that he doesn't want to give witter a payday.

whatever the reason, picking lazcano as an opponent seems like a way of ducking witter, at least that is what is perceived from looking at it from a fan stand point.

i think that there are some other fights for hatton that won't make it look so bad, because it does kind of look NOT on the up and up.

Well now that a big old fuss has been made about it, a Hatton vs Witter showdown will definitely sell out in Manchester now, if it wouldn't have before. Lazcano is a bad choice, but a safe one to build back up Ricky's confidence. He can't risk getting KO'd again if he jumps straight into a fight with Witter. I think Hatton vs Witter should be set up for later this year.

now it's clear, hatton is afraid of witter, for if he is not, why of all possible big names in welterweight, he landed on lazcano? does lazcano bring something big to the table for hatton? and who believe hatton's camp? hatton's handlers are afraid ricky will absorb his second loss in the hands of witter. that's it. i hope he will survive lazcano...
