    Stop Comparing Floyd to Wlad

1st off Floyd is the much more accomplished fighter and Wlad hasnt beaten half the top fighters that Floyd has. There styles are totally different and Floyd has never been beat, let alone KO.

Then I keep hearing everyone compare the Sultan fight to the Baldy fight. Anyone who does that doesnt have a brain. Im a Floyd fan and even I admit that the Baldy fight was super boring but there was a huge difference between that fight in Wlad's fight and thats the size difference. I never thought Floyd shouldve been ripped for the Baldy fight because it was just Floyd's 3rd fight at the weight and the other 2 were against small guys. Floyd clearly was not a real WW at the time. He was much closer to 140 while Baldy was much closer to a 154 pounder and moved up right after that fight. It was Floyd's 4th weight class and basically his 5th if you go by how big Baldy was.

If you go back and rewatch that fight then you will see that Floyd looks like a little boy while Baldy is super huge. The fight night weigh-in had Floyd listed at 146 and Baldy listed at 166. Thats 20 literal pounds bigger and you could easily tell that he was even naturally more bigger then that. Wlad on the other hand was even bigger to Sultan then Baldy was to Floyd. Thats the difference. Atleast Floyd was fighting a much bigger & stronger man. Wlad has all the advantages and still is scared to do anything. Name 1 fight where you saw Floyd fight a smaller guy and not go toe to toe? Floyd never fights smaller guys but even the rare fight against a guy his size he is super aggressive and walks guys down. Zab is a lefty and Floyd walked him down all night while Zab is natually bigger. Why cant Wlad do that? Sure he walked Sultan down but its all jabs.

Anyone who cant see the huge difference in size is blind. That totally makes those 2 fights apples & oranges. The bad part is that Wlad is always like that, atleast since Sanders stopped him. I told everyone this after the Brewer fight. Its funny how the HBO guys and fans on here were bragging on him then but dissing him now. It was the same exact fight. The only differnce is that weak chin Brewster basically got woozy after every jab but Sultan didnt. He fought them both the same exact way except Sultan could take the jab. If Brewster could take it then Wlad wouldve never threw the right again

They're both about as boring to watch as a video of paint drying or rust forming.

      Just as I predicted.

Your post is uninformed, saying Brewster has a glass chin proves it. The man could take a punch.

Baldomir was bigger and stronger than Floyd Mayweather, Ibragimov wasn't bigger and stronger than Wladimir BUT you could also say Baldomir has a 20-30% KO percentage while Ibragimov's KO percentage is 70-80%, Ibragimov is also 220 pounds, Baldomir is about 160.

The truth is, both fights were similar and both fighters have plenty of reasons to fight like they fought.

Now watch Wladimir supporters come to this thread to support their hero.

The comparison is made because both guys fought nearly a flawless fight without taking any risks.

People found both fights to be extremely boring. I found both fights to be watchable, but not ones that I would keep in my must-see list. A lack of KO attempt doesn't turn me off to a fight, but tons of mistakes do, and since neither victor made almost any mistakes, I found this fight to be not that bad.

Wlad vs Ibragimov and Floyd vs Baldomir were both lackluster fights, but Wlad's victory was more IMPRESSIVE because he was fighting a very good dangerous fighter, unlike Floyd who was fighting a journeyman BUM.

          Ibragimov > Baldomir

Ibragimov - Undefeated, hard hitting dangerous counter punching southpaw

Baldomir - Journeyman bum with no power, pathetic record 44-11-6 with only 13 KO's

Fine enough, but Floyd also hit more, and got hit less. He won every round too.

I saw the fights look almost exactly the same way. The victor did pretty much as good as possible without taking any unneccessary risks.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but you do make quite a few threads where you get your panties in a bunch about Floyd's fans liking WWE.

If you are going to tell them not to get their panties in a bunch about liking him, shouldn't you not get your panties in a bunch about them liking him?

a huge difference between wk pbf is that wladimir can punch - and knocks out most everyone in front of him.

another difference is that you can count on floyd having boring fights in the future. klitschko will likely murder his next opponent.

both, however, are clearly the greatest boxers in their respective weight class for some time now.
