No probelms with my other points about unification.. or Never leaving the home field??
The thread has to do with being the best fighter of the generation so I would say comp and wins.

Jones was known more for his skills rather then his wins.

he not trippin, it can be debated that he above RJJ, it's a close one. personally i think RJJ is the greatest of this generation then Holyfield then Mayweather but only because Mayweather still has a few good years left in him before he retires i have no doubt he'll be on par with them by then.

going trough 5 divisions and staying undefeated is a great feat. Along the way winning 6 world titles.

and winning fights not by being the bigger dude, but the smarter fighter.
And one of the most complete fighters.
Going thru 5 divisions and not clearing them out is another thing. RJJ cleaned out Mw, SMW, and LHW divisions

Even in the LHW division there was still the linear champion Dariusz Michelczewski left for Roy to beat.
Unfortunately that fight never happened because neither man wanted to fight in the others home country.

It is VERY hard to completely clean out a division and we should give credit for those who did.

Floyd didn't come close to cleaning out any division. He only beat like 1 0r 2, maybe even 3 quality fighters in each division. Gatti and Chop Chop don't count.

and yet look at all the **** he has to do just to get people to watch him. reality tv shows, fake wrestling, a fake persona infront of the cameras. sometimes i wonder whether it is because of the times we live in or people just dont generally like him.
