after brutally knocking out calvin brock and chris byrd with huge (biggest in years) right hands, wladimir put the division on notice. his next fight he would ko ray austin with his left not even needing the right.
however his next two opponents brewster and ibragimov gave wladimir the fight because they were afraid of his riht hand - literally
brewster quit because he knew it was coming straight up the middle at thim and he couldnt do a thing about it.
ibragimov decided it would be best to eat jabs from the outside and wildly swing at wladimir missing by 6 inches to a foot in losing a boring decision.
two big name solid heavyweights who were afraid of that straight right hand because they knew they had no chance if it landed a few times.
i hope wlad fight povetkin in the summer and then chagaev or peter/maskaev winner in the fall.
you know he will knock out the fearless povetkin as he is an inside fighter and will try to go through the right hands of wlad.
chagaev will be a repeat vs ibragimov but vs maskaev or peter we will be for a treat. one similar to wlads first fight were you know both guys are throwing big enough punches that either guy could be knocked out at any time.
