Why can't Lennox get the words out?

Was he having sympathy with Wlad or something, his tongue feeling the hesitation, the fear of error, that Wlad's right hand was feeling?

Seriously, the words don't come out. And yet they keep paying him for a job that requires only that he speak. It took him fourteen syllables to utter "athleticism."

I don't want to be hard on him, I have a brother with a speech impediment. But he found a career that doesn't require him to talk much.

There have to be some ex-boxers who can actually speak in unbroken sentences. So get rid of this guy already.

It's weird, he does fine in interviews but when he does commentating he seems to just freeze up or something.

The funny thing is, he had a good night on the actual fight commentary. He's perfect for Wlad fights because he relates to Wlad and says all the right things that WK should be doing. But it seems he doesn't trust his tongue.

yeah as much as I like the guy, I think they should try out someone else. I always loved Foreman when he did it. Jones was good too.

Like silencer said though, he's absolutley fine and coherent in interviews, he just gets nervous I think, or he feels overwhelmed by Lampley and Merchant's personalities, and their experience in commentating. Always got the impression he felt like the kid of the trio.

He only does good with Wlad because Wlad does a lot of what Lewis used to do so he knows exactly what's going on.

Maybe he gets too self conscious because of the amount of people that are listening to him during a telecast. He always has a weird quote.
