    He has 2 mandatories now.

Tony Thompson is the WBO mandatory and Povetkin is the IBF mandatory, I think he'll fight Thompson first then maybe try to go after another title as I think Povetkin's management will want him to have a few more fights before they put him in with Klitschko.

      Tony Thompson, WBO mandatory
      Alexander Povetkin, IBF mandatory

try to get a WBA unification, hopefully Valuev if he can beat Chagaev in the rematch

No matchups out there anyone is really screaming for. Max wants him to fight Maskaev-Peter winner, but Vitali is champion emeritus

He needs someone to blast out in spectacular fashion.

Sorry, Tony Thompson, it's been nice knowing you.

Next step he will try unsucessfully to land another unification fight, with Chagaev, who appears to want no part of Wlad for now.

Then, he should defend his WBO belt against Thompson, probably in late May, early June, or announce he is vacating that belt.

He will be fighting Povetkin later, in the fall.

I would like to see him fight the Maskaev/Peter winner, but like what was said Vitali will probably jump in on that. So it looks like Tony Thompson next especially after this performance he needs a spectacular finish.
