    Can Steve Cunningham move up from cruiser weight and challenge the heavyweight champion?

    there are a lot better cruiser to heavy prospects than cunningham, USS is a finesse boxer and wouldnt bring excitement or KO power to the heavyweight ranks. plus he regularly weighs in 7 or 8 pounds under the cruiser limit, which means physically he wouldnt be suited to go above 200.

    johnathon banks will be a heavy eventually and he can easily carry 220 pounds, if there is an american to watch for in this regard it is him, not cunningham

      I would like Cunningham to move up but he lacks punching power. Has a descent chin in cruiser, but most likely would get knockdown/out if he fights a top 15 heavy fighter.

        I think he would find heavy easier than either Haye or Maccarinelli as he would have an edge on speed at the weight. I think both Haye and Maccarinelli would eat Phillies current finest for breakfast.

          Exactly my thoughts, although he could fight at HW if he wanted to, just not such a good idea for him.
