Pavlik-Duddy negotiations not going very well

Arum opened with a $1 million offer with Duddy's camp asking for $2 million. Eventually, Arum raised his offer to about $1.2 million and Duddy came down to about $1.75 million, but they are still several hundred thousand apart.

*note: this was before tonights disastrous performance by Duddy. Who knows if the result of this fight will alter any further negotiations.

No only would Duddy have no chance whatsoever, Pavlik would look bad for taking the fight. I hope that fight doesn't happen.

Kelly should try to get a fight with Winky Wright, Arthur Abraham, or Felix Sturm.

Bob Arum has always been my favorite promoter, but as of lately he's been ****ing up as of late with his major attractions, first Cotto is set to fight Gomez and now this mismatch, plus it was also mentioned that the networks aren't really attracted to this fight.

It's good for Duddy if this fight doesn't get made, I think his management is looking for that one big payday.

Duddy is small. He would get murdered.

Trinidad should fight Duddy and then look for calling out Taylor or Pavlik.. Him and his outrageous name calling attempts.

The way Duddy was bounced around tonight he needs to admitt to himself that he has not chance against Pavlik and simply back off like Sergio Mora did when he was supposed to fight Taylor.

Who knows, he could make some decent coin while still maintaining his unbeaten record fighting past their prime contenders.

After all, barely beating guys like Yori boy Campas and Howard Eastman, guys who's best days were years ago shows he is not ready (and never will be ) for the elite.

Thats a hell of an idea.. Trinidad would be fighting on the eve of the puerto rican day parade, and he would be fighting an undefeated guy with a huge fan base in NYC as well. Trinidad would also be able to look like the old him and land left hooks at will for an exciting fight. good call maybe we'll see it happen

Unless Duddy is willing to move up to 168, it's not gonna happen.
