I can't explain why he was so gun shy with the right hand. But i must say his defense was nearly flawless and that jab can be considered a power punch. I give Wlad a B+ for the performance. He barely got hit and dominated with one punch. And when he landed the right hand it was catastrophic.
I am Sorry but am I the only one who Thought...

I think Wlad has spoiled us by how frequently he knocks out his opponent. It wasn't an exciting fight, but Wlad was excellent with the jab and controlled the distance the whole fight. Sultan landed no meaningful shots in the fight and Wlad got in twelve rounds of work and looked like he could've went 15 easy. That being said, if he truly wants to be recognized as the HW champ, and bring fans back to the sport, he has to do more.Comment

Wlad dominated, but he should have took more chances.
Ibragimov diden't take chances either because he knew he would have been ko'd. Made the fight very anticlimactic, which in turn made all the dumbasses start crying on this forum.
Duddy fight was very good so that might have made the Klit fight look even worst, like Lampley said. "win tonight, look good next fight"Comment

those weren't sissy slaps you moron. they were a basic application of what we call splitting or chopping fist.
are you sulking because your guy got shut out by a fighter who could've basically tied one hand behind his back.
maybe you are not used to seeing SKILL. if a fighter can dominate another with one arm............Comment

I'm sure anyone with simple boxing ability can beat a 16 years old, teenagers don't know how to fight, have you seen all those vids that are all over the net.
He wasn't 30 pounds heavier and he's actually 6'5. Just b/c your born with those attributes doesn't mean you can use them well, you can either be born knowing how to use them or train to use them right. There have been many HW who were very much taller than there opponents and lost decisively. An example of a guy who couldn't use his reach and height to his advantage was (although not a HW) Paul Williams. So again sure his size helped him but he was trained by the best to use them to there fullest potential.Comment

you are quite right. and how many opponents were shorter than tyson? you know my point - size will not necessarily trump skill. i wish more people here could have met the people i have met. opinions would change dramatically.Comment
