What a waste of talent : Walid Smichet

What a waste of talent. He obviously doesn't have right conditioning. But his fighting style is really good. He leads with right hands and throws everything in the book. He busted Duddy up and Duddy dodged a bullet he was in with a guy that simply didn't know what he had and wasted an opportunity.

I just think that Duddy is just that easy to hit.

I didn't see any great skills from Smichet, just a total absense of defence from Duddy during the first rounds. He showed good heart and toughness though.

Smichet should fight at jr middle if he can make it. He's too short for middle.

I disagree, the guy has natural talent. Don't get me wrong he is no boxing scientist but this day and age its rare to see a fighter throw the lead right as good as smichet did, or even the repertoire of punches he exposed on duddy. As you said, Duddy was a reason why he looked so good, but i would say that not all can be attributed to duddy.
