People on here claim he is one of the hardest punchers ever, and youre condoning a "hit and dont be hit" tactic? It was obvious to most that Wlad couldve taken him out easily, but Wlad just showed he dont have the mentality of a dominant heavyweight and just relies on his physical advantages. It works, true, but hell never be looked at the way heavyweight champs are supposed to be looked at, and its sad for the sport.Comment

Still, the easiest punch to land on a southpaw is a straight right.
I haven't seen the fight yet, and judging from what I hear, probably never will.
If a 6'6 man doesn't even attempt to hit a 6'1 man with the right hand, something is wrong.
Either physically or mentally.
well kiddo, you are forgetting to mention that what we saw today were two heavyweight champions fighting eachother. NOT two fighters with nothing to lose.
they both were waiting for the other to make a mistake. this is why we saw a very carefully fought fight. the only case you could possibly make is that wladimir gave sultan too much respect. personally, i would say he did give sultan too much respect. however, he also dominated so easily that taking chances to please the crowd would be considered strategically ******ed.
and, as with many of you newbie haters, you're math is off. there was a four inch height difference, not five.Comment

Newbie hater?
Your ignorance is proven by each and every post were you seem to get high on your own point of view.
Tread carefully, friend.
I don't know how tall Iggybear actually are, if the information I got from an article here on boxingscene is wrong, so sorry if I blowed the height difference way out of proportion.
My math could be better, I won't dispute that.
My grammar could also be improved, seeing as I struggle to know when and were to use is and are, like in the last paragraph.
If you'd like, you could score some free points against me there.
It would make me look more of a fool than you've already made me out to be.Comment

and getting something like that wrong isnt something to pick at, for example, I could be a ***** and say "it's 'your', not 'you're', but spelling and grammar really dont matter on the internet, so why notice something like that?
and Sultan didnt look like he was fighting very careful a lot of the time...like the times he was throwing huge looping punches, leaving himself completely open.Comment
