Might also have something to do with Hopkins' last fight being extremely ugly. I was going to say Hop's age as well, but damn, Holyfield/Ibragimov was PPV and Evander was almost 46. Ibragimov wasn't nearly as well known as Calzaghe, too.

maybe because no one knew both of them in the us and i didnt even know kessler til they announced calzaghe was fighting him lol it was a fight tho.
Its mostly due to the fact joe hasnt fought in the usa yet and bhop has become a ugly fighter.
