Oscar Larios Shows His Age In Victory

From January 2001 to December 2005, he was one of the best Jr. Featherweights in the world. Then he lost three of his last six bouts, leaving his future up in the air. In his first start since the last of those losses, a July 2007 stoppage at the hands Venezuelan phenom Jorge Linares that initially ended with reports that Oscar Larios (60-6-1, 37 KO) had suffered a serious head injury, Larios won a unanimous decision.

Was kind of hoping Larios made enough in the Pac fight to retire on.

He's been in hell of a lot of tough fights, & sure as hell doesn't have anything left to prove. 2 time champ if I recall rightly, & a good one.
Kind of fighter who'd fight anyone, & give it his best shot.

He's slipping badly now - doesn't have the handspeed & reactions that he used to, & does not need to take any more punishment after a very tough career.

Here's hoping he retires for good, & does well in his retirement from the ring.
Classic mexican battler whose time in the ring is now past.
