              First of all that isn't Manny's all time great list, I only mention this because some will not understand your sarcasm.

              Secondly, so Manny props his fighters. This is boxing, it's his job.

              Thirdly, Manny doesn't even neccessarily believe what he's saying about his own fighters. He's doing it to get their name mentioned with the big boys. Your list is proof that his statements gain publicity for the fighters.

              Fourthly, take the example of Andy Lee, a very bright prospect. Manny has said that he could beat Kelly Pavlik right now. Andy is a middleweight and is destined for great things, talks of big fights are always going to happen long before the fight, by saying Lee can beat Pavlik now he's already laid the groundwork for the fight. When Lee is ready it will be a whole lot easier to put the fight together.

              Still found your post amusing though.
