That fight with Margarito was a fluke (and so where his 7 other losses.) He admitted to have comed into the ring with diarrhea. He basically states he had to lose the fight to get to the bathrrom earlier. But he has informed me and others at a press conference that he will fight again on May 17th in a small show in Houston, Texas. His next plans are then to fight a top ten welterweight somewhere in September, the names he mentioned were among Clottey, Quintana, and Kermit Cintron. He said he should he win that fight he would then wait for De La Hoya next year to fight him on PPV in May. Hopefully all this comes true for boxings pound-for-pound most underrated fighter. He says by the end of 2008 should he not be in the #1 spot pound-for-pound he will be somewhere in the top 5. Good luck Golden.

He said he started to see some easy openings on Margarito when diarrhea hit him and bad so he decided to take the dive. Afetr 4 months of grueling training before the fight how to counter diarrhea wasnt in his game plan. Too bad we didnt get to see the best of 14k.

I don't know why so much bull**** and teasing golden but he had a great win for an older fighter when he beat top prospect/contender Oscar Diaz. Too, bad very few people here give him credit for that win going into the Margarito fight.

there been many more awful missmatches this past months
and about johnson he got a nice draw with larry mosley but thats as far as his career is gonna get
