ESPNClassic did something strange

well in cases like vargas-mayorga im sure Showtime gives them stuff for free, like the countdown show and a few fights, but i dont think they pay them. Maybe they do in instances like that.

But im 90% sure HBO didnt pay for ESPN classic to show that Klitschko fight. It would have hurt business. They arent even showing Klitschko fights on HBO.

They are showing the Klitschko fight on HBO tonight!

Also, for the Mayorga-Vargas fight, they showed some old HBO fights of Mayorga and Vargas... so it seems like ESPN shows both networks' old fights of those fighters in order to promote the live main event that coming weekend.

I have also seen them do this with Miguel Cotto before Cotto vs. Mosley.

It can't be coincidence that ESPN always shows the two fighters that are fighting in a PPV the upcoming weekend. I'm sure they get some sort of money.
