He really might not last the distance. Ever since the Quartey fiasco, Forrest has kind of abandoned the jab and move style that he has used throughout his career in favor or a very aggressive boxer-puncher, who has shown that he can hurt you if he hits your flush.
If Mora had trouble with Manfredo, then Forrest probably won't have trouble finding Mora.
He is fairly big though, so I'm not 100% sure Forrest will end up KO'ing him.Comment

Forrest just took out Piccarillo. That was at better than +400 odds. Picarrillo is a slick boxer who had never been KO'd before. It's too bad Forrest isn't bankable. You want to talk about a dodged fighter....

Vernon Forrest-Sergio Mora Deal is Reached
The negotiations appear to be done, Dan Rafael reports that a deal has been reached between WBC junior middleweight champion Vernon Forrest (40-2, 29KOs) and Sergio Mora (20-0-1, 5KOs), who won the first season of the "Contender" reality series. The bout will take place on May 10, on Showtime, with a venue to be announced at a later date. [details]Comment
