Not since the Quartey fight has Vernon encountered adversity. Sergio Mora is coming off a draw with an opponent. I'm missing your point.

Floyd Mayweather Jr. and his "Money Mayweather" campaign has had an adverse affect on the fan's mindset. Instead of applauding good matchmaking, now fans are concerning themselves with the business of boxing, most of which is contradictory and hypocritical. This is the kind of arguing that Mayweather uses to justify a second fight with De La Hoya.

Whatever happened to making the best fights for the fans? This is a good fight for both guys, particularly for Forrest who has not been able to get a fight of note in some time. This is an elimination of sorts for two guys who have scarcely been mentioned at the highest echelons. One goes on, the never recovers. This is what makes boxing good. Not "he doesn't deserve this fight" arguments.
