I responded to this in another thread. I just think Cotto is now tired of Floyd's bull****. He figured Floyd would eventually end up in his path and he'd have to face him. Now that he knows Floyd is being a little ***** and getting into other bull**** to hide his tail, Cotto has to pick it up abit to get Floyd back in the ring. On the other hand, I think it could be Cotto's people that are making him do the talking just to get Floyd's attention. I don't think Cotto is ever the kind of guy to talk.
Is Floyd Already Beating Cotto?

Well I admit that I have always wanted Cotto to say something about Floyd in the ring during his post fight interview like Hatton did and see how Floyd reacts but I dont think that matters now because I think Floyd will fight him after Oscar.I responded to this in another thread. However, to your point above, isnt that still Floyd getting in Cotto's head? Thats kind of how Floyd works. He does stuff or avoids you until you get "tired of his bull****" and then you start acting different because he's gotten under your skin somewhat. Then they sign the fight and now Floyd's aggrevating you to death in all the press conferences until you cant hold back anymore and now you want to kill him with the fight starts and thats just what he wantsComment

I don't believe so. I just think all of Floyd's opponents weren't good enough for him. The annoyance that he adds is just alil something extra because his opponents haven't been either metnally strong enough or they didn't care. Oscar I think didn't care, he just didn't follow his fight plan thorougly enough. I think Cotto wouldn't care, his english isn't enough to give a **** about what Floyd says. He just wants to get in there and brutalize him and end Floyd's BS reign already.Well I admit that I have always wanted Cotto to say something about Floyd in the ring during his post fight interview like Hatton did and see how Floyd reacts but I dont think that matters now because I think Floyd will fight him after Oscar.

I think Cotto is just showing how bad he wants to the fight. The harder he tries, the more it shows the coward Mayweather is for avoiding this man.Cotto had never really called Floyd out and I actually respected him for it because that obviously wasnt his personality and we all knew that he wanted the fight anyway.
Now though he is openly calling him out and starting to be kind of ****y about it. You can say what you want but that is not Cotto's personality. To me, its like Floyd is already winning the mind games. He's already got Cotto acting different. I can see the fight getting made around Januaray and Floyd easily getting under Cotto's skin and making him do things that he doesnt normally do. I could see Cotto losing his cool or start talking alot of trash.
Everyone always says that Floyd wont be able to get under someones skin and then he always does it and its happening again. You guys might like Cotto doing all this talking about Floyd but I just think its wrong because its not him. There's a difference between letting it be known that you want a fight and then talking non stop about it and being ****y about it. He's even starting to overlook his opponent which is probally ok for now since he's only fighting Gomez but still...
Unlike others, I do think this fight definatly happeneds after Floyd beats Oscar and I think that it will be by far the biggest fight in recent memory when it comes strictly to boxing. It might not make Floyd-Oscar money but for boxing itself, it will be super hugeComment
