In all seriousness though, Hatton got hustled by Floyd

Floyd hustled that dude straight up and down. Floyd let Hatton think he was actually getting THAT close to Floyd on his own. Why else would Floyd clinch and get dirty with Hatton. I really doubt it was to "prove he could go toe 2 toe". Floyd gave Hatton a false sense of security. Hatton thought he would have no problems gettin after the way the first couple of rounds went. So much that he got careless. I think that is what I most appreciated about that fight. The manipulation that was unfolding before my eyes. Kind of reminds me of Ali/Foremen in the way that Ali manipulated Foremen until Formen positioned himself exactly how Ali wanted him to. Of course, the significance of that fight was far more important and impacting in the world of sports.

and I really didnt see any of the **** Hatton was training for or did in training executed in the ring.

The phrase "Everyonehas a plan until they get hit" comes to mind. Floyd messes with your pac, timing, and oddly enough your epth perception. I have to watch that fight again, is it on youtube?

This is possibly the dumbest post I have read. Just to be clear, the premise of your post is that what Floyd done well was evidence of his skill and what Hatton done well was also evidence of Floyd's skill because he was allowing Hatton to do it.

You're gonna tell me that Hatton got in because of his ability? How many times has Floyd really slowdanced with other fighters? Is Hatton the first guy to try to apply pressure? floyd could have easily kept him at bay with straights and jabs and lateral movement.

Eh, yes, that's exactly what I'm telling you. Floyd is good but the demigod status bestowed on him by fanboys like you is embarrassing.
