Will Mayweather SR. make Zab a better fighter?

As we all know, Floyd Mayweather Sr. will be in Judah's corner when he faces Shane Mosley. Mayweather Sr. is known for making fighters better. I know Zab is naturally talented. He was blessed with good speed and good power. In the past we have seen Judah fight some good fights for about 5 or 6 rounds before he breaks down mentally.

So I ask you guys.... Will Mayweather Sr. give him that edge what he's been missing? ( that mental toughness) Or do you still think Zab will break down mentally?

I sure hope he makes Zab better, but I honestly have no idea regarding Zab's mentality with everything. I hope he just says **** all the dumb **** and fights.

Zab will be Zab. You can't teach mental fortitude nd dedicton. Shane is going to put it on him May 17th, bank on it.

I actually think you can teach that in some ways. Sr will give Zab a totally different camp then his father and Zab will respcet it because he knows its his last shot to be great. The problem is that Zab is so down now that who knows if he can even get back to a top level mentally of physically but I do think that if he can then Sr. will make a huge difference. If he got him 2 years ago then I would say that Zab would be a beast and I think its still possible that he could be a very scary fighter who could beat Mosley and then a guy like Margarito with Sr. when I thought that Margarito would kill him before this move

You're homie. That is something you must do on your own but Sr. is an in your face type of guy. Maybe it will help him, maybe it wont. Only time will tell.

And something else. I agree with you that Shane is going to beat Mosley. NO DOUBT.

Hey only time will tell my friend. I picked Mosley to win but I still like Zab as a fighter and I just hope that Sr will get Zab focused and keep his head on straight. Zab has to much talent and he is letting go to waste IMO. He is physically ready for anybody but his mental aspect is lacking big time. As skills said you have to learn to be mentally tough on your own but you can have a trainer to help you with that problem (just my opinion)

NOw that I just read what Zab said, Im starting to change my mind again. He said that they "brought in" Floyd Sr.

What does that mean? Does that mean that Yoel is out the picture or are they both working together? I thought Zab was going to Sr.

If there working together then I think Zab will probally be the same ole guy. He has to get Yoel out the picture

I'm still in some were in the middle myself. I want to think Sr. will make him mentally tougher but when Zab gets hit will resort back to being timid and gun shy? ( afraid to let his hands go) So I agree with ya 100%.
