Its a pick'em fight, ive told you before, give me serious odds and i'd consider a bet, regardless, my head says calzaghe wins, that should indicate to you that i wouldnt be confident enough about hop winning to put all my points on it.

If calzaghe wins ill give you 7k, if Hop wins, i get all your points, if your so confident, go for it.

Hopkins will beat him easier than people think, and leave him beat up.

How so? I'm interested to see your opinions of how he'd beat Calzaghe up.

Let's reverse it and ask how Calzaghe will beat Bernard Hopkins, because he's the challenger.

When he falls short with his slappy flurries, he'll be punished. When he looks at the canvas while throwing punches, he'll be punished. When he squares up with his chin up, he'll be punished. Etc. Etc. Et-****ing-cetera. Son. Bernard will constantly get off first with his lead right hand to the jaw bone, hit hips and limbs (or whatever he can get his hands on) and land another right hand on the break. Calzaghe misses far more than he lands anyway, Bernard hits the counter right hand home and every one of them count here, as in every one of them is hard, because Bernard will be physically stronger than ever on the night. He'll gradually beat Calzaghe down until he folds, son. It'll be an execution, and cement his status as the best and greatest fighter of all-time. Lacy was too slow and Kessler was too stiff, Bernard will reduce the output on movement alone. SON.

Honestly, if you are looking for a way that Hopkins loses, it isn't hard to find.

If Hopkins ****s around in the early rounds and gets started later than he intends (as he did in Taylor I) or just finds that Calzaghe is too accurate (because accuracy + workrate is hard to overcome) then he loses.

Hopefully he learned his lesson from the Taylor fights, that he isn't in there to **** around, he is in there to win.

Calzaghe's accuracy is the x-factor in this fight IMO.

This is the key thing, hopkins will need to throw more punches against calzaghe and stay busier, but he wont cos styles dont change overnight and this is probably what will cost him the fight. By the way anyone who thinks Bernard Hopkins is Jeff Lacy or Mikkel Kessler is in for a shock. Seriously.

I can't believe how many people think that the 43 years of age for Hopkins means so much.

I have never seen a fighter fight in a style that requires less energy and athleticism than Bernard Hopkins. He seriously has the perfect style for a guy who wants to fight until the day he dies.

He is going to prove how wrong 90% this board is who thinks that Calzaghe is going to walk over Hopkins 12 rounds to 0.

Hopkins has a better right hand counter than Floyd Mayweather, and Joe Calzaghe's southpaw ass is going to feel it more than once when he throws a lazy ass jab or a looping something.

Joe Calzaghe is going to prove how good he really is if he wins this fight.
